Nicholas Slepko-Gonzalez consults on international operations and communications initiatives, and is currently developing a port and bank with Somali investors. In addition to working on casting and production for feature films, documentaries, and new media projects with the BBC, National Geographic, and others, Nick remains the youngest ever recipient of the Robert Novak Journalism Fellowship. Previously, Nick was based in Kyiv, Ukraine and Istanbul, Turkey and worked with the Transactions, Tax and Legal divisions of the global consulting and auditing firm Ernst & Young in Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe/Eurasia. Nick was later commissioned by the American Museum of Natural History and Conservation International to transition a market-based environmental program in the South Pacific to local management.
