Sirius XM’s Megyn Kelly blasted the media for peddling the “farce” that presumptive 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has been farting in court.

Several anti-Trump reporters and personalities recently made a big stink repeating the claim that Trump has been passing gas in the courtroom of his Manhattan trial. Kelly said reporters were “hot on the trail” of Trump’s alleged farts while ignoring larger issues like “rampant antisemitism” across the United States.

“They’re hot on the trial of the flatulence,” Kelly said. “They can see it coming. They sensed it. Coming a mile away.”

“This is like the breaking news from the courtroom, that Trump is allegedly passing gas and his lawyers can’t stand it,” she added.

Democratic strategist James Carville suggested Sunday that voters attend Trump’s rally and play “fart sounds” on their phones. Kelly questioned how the media knows Trump was “the source” of the alleged farts, calling the story a “farce.” (RELATED: ‘You Took Your D*ck Out’: Megyn Kelly Comes In Hot After Ex-CNN Pundit Attacks Justice Thomas)

“It’s like, how do we know it was Trump? How do we know it wasn’t the lawyer sitting next to him? Can you locate the source of the gas exactly? I mean, I would ask for a criminal probe on that,” Kelly said. “He might get indicted on that next week.”

“They’re on the scent of something big — possible flatulence in the courtroom,” Kelly joked.  “I mean, it’s weird how like, I don’t know. You tell me if Trump were sitting across from E. Jean Carroll and she let one go. Do you think the media would be updating and reporting on that, or is it just Trump gas that makes national headlines. I’m curious. I wonder. No, I actually know the answer. It’s just, it’s, it’s, a farce. A different kind of F-A-R. It’s a farce.”

“Not to mention, Biden fails to say anything about the rampant antisemitism coast-to-coast,” she added. “We’re not talking about that, we’re talking about possible Trump gas. Which, again, remains unproven. Whoever smelt it dealt it — that remains the default rule both in court and out of court.”

Trump was charged with 34 felony counts related to his alleged falsification of business documents pertaining to payments to former porn star Stormy Daniels for her silence over an alleged affair.
