Jon Stewart: Worst! Person! In the World!

Font Size:

Did you think Keith Olbermann went a little overboard when he called Senator Scott Brown, on the very night of his election*, an “irresponsible, homophobic, racist, reactionary, ex-nude model, teabagging supporter of violence against women and against politicians with whom he disagrees”? Did you think it was particularly silly that Olbermann apologized, but only for forgetting to add “sexist”? Did you?

Way to go, wingnut. Now you’ve done it. Now you’ve brainwashed Jon Stewart.

On last night’s Daily Show, Stewart devoted seven whole minutes to countering Olbermann’s hostile rants. After mocking the petulant pundit for his utterly deranged reaction to Brown’s victory, Stewart pulled out the big guns:

A Flip Spiceland ref! Niiiice.

Real Clear Politics has the entire segment, which even goes so far as to defend Michelle Malkin against Olbermann’s reference to her as a “mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick on it.” Quoth Stewart: “That, my fine feathered friend, sounds a lot more like violence against women than anything Scott Brown ever said.”

Let the tears fall like rain, leftosphere. This will not end well. Mr. Stewart will come to rue the day he made his maliciously malevolent mistake. He is now the enemy.

Join us, Jon.

Join us.

P.S. Remember when Bill O’Reilly referred to people he didn’t like as “poor, dumb, manipulated bastards”? Wait, wrong jerk.

P.P.S. “Corporations, maaaaaan!”

P.P.P.S. Keith Olbermann understands important things.

P.P.P.P.S. “A very gratifying gasp.”

*Correction: Mr. Olbermann vomited forth this vile, demented slur on the evening before the election.** The DC Trawler regrets the error.

**Correction 2: Or was it on election night after all? If anybody actually watches the show live, please help me clear this up.
