E-Commerce Manager

The Daily Caller is looking for an E-Commerce Manager to build on our already successful affiliate business and work with our analytics, editorial, product, and business teams to develop and sell new e-commerce products and maximize our revenue.

We’re seeking an e-commerce expert to help us build a successful business over the coming years. You’re self-motivated with a keen business sense and ready to manage partnerships and partners that drive revenue through selling of products on our store. You have a keen understanding of the technical aspects of linking, tracking and affiliate relationships. You’ll be responsible for white-labeling new products as well as managing third party logistics related to warehousing and shipping of those products, and will help guide the strategic decision making that will grow the e-commerce business.

In This Role You’ll

  • Serve as a point of contact for inbound and outbound project needs for our affiliate content network and store
  • Develop and negotiate new partnerships with wholesalers and white-label new products
  • Use your customer-facing skills to lead partners effectively through every phase of partnership from ideations through execution, management, and reporting
  • Optimize the revenue and KPIs of commerce content
  • Manage warehousing and shipping logistics and troubleshoot any issues
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to scope new opportunities for growth

Ideal Candidates Will Have

  • 2+ years in digital media, e-commerce and/or merchandising
  • A successful track record of building and optimizing retail and partner relationships
  • Experience with 3PL or white-labeling products
  • Expertise in web technologies and the digital media revenue ecosystem
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Google Drive/Analytics

 

 

Operations & Marketing Manager

The Daily Caller is seeking a motivated, proactive, team player to join us for the chance to be a part of a fast-paced and fun startup company that’s still growing rapidly in its 8th year.

The Operations & Marketing Manager’s core responsibilities will include making sure day-to-day operations run smoothly in the office while also aggressively promoting The Daily Caller’s content.

On the operations side you will handle onboarding for all employees, freelancers and interns, manage internal business meetings and run the internship program from start to finish each semester. On the marketing side you will promote our top news stories and exclusives, generate and distribute press releases, and pitch exclusive interviews to media and Capitol Hill contacts.

Other responsibilities include support for the Director of Programmatic & Advertising Operations and Senior Vice President of Sales, including generating reports, sending client emails, prospect research and incoming sales requests.

Working closely with management will afford the opportunity to influence big decisions of a growing website with over 15 million unique visitors per month.

Do you have a passion for products? Do you spend your free time combing the internet for the best deals out there? The Daily Caller, a 24-hour online news publication founded by Tucker Carlson and Neil Patel, is looking for writers to grow its commerce team, the Daily Dealer.

The ideal candidate will be a strong writer with keen research skills and the ability to communicate the pros and cons of certain products in a compelling and informative manner. Daily Dealer writers should also have a budding curiosity about the growing world of e-commerce and a desire to understand what drives online shopping behavior, as well as how to tailor content to fit audience needs.

We are especially looking for writers with an interest in reviewing home appliances and furniture and/or outdoor equipment.

The candidate must have excellent news judgment, with an eye for what stories will draw incredible amounts of interest. He or she must also know how to optimize content to attract visitors from a variety of sources – including search engines and social media.

The candidate should have a strong knowledge of U.S. policy and politics, in addition to having a great eye for potential fact checks.

The candidate will also be expected to occasionally write and report interesting fact check stories in a clear and concise manner. Most importantly, the candidate should enjoy working in an irreverent and fast-moving atmosphere.

At least two to five years of professional journalism experience is preferred, but not required.
