Do you love politics, memes and montages?  Do you want to make viral politics videos to broadcast to our millions of Facebook viewers? Then we have the job for you.

The Daily Caller is seeking a whip-smart, lightning-fast video intern who can churn out daily entertainment. The job entails generating content on one of the country’s most-read news sites from our Washington, D.C. headquarters.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Basic experience with video/audio production
  • Operational knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite — Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects
  • Ability to operate in a deadline-heavy news environment
  • Familiarity with the current political landscape
  • Rapidly deploying to real news events at a moment’s notice, camera in hand.

The perfect candidate will be great at capturing video, efficient at editing it, a whiz with social media — including the emerging stuff — and not a moron.  You should be a comic, an artist, a techie and a news junkie.

Daily Caller News Foundation Fellowship

The Daily Caller News Foundation is seeking a policy reporter to break news on important issues in America and the world.

The job entails reporting for one of the country’s most-read news sites from our Washington, D.C. headquarters. Beats include business, defense, labor, abortion, energy, politics, education, foreign affairs, drug policy, immigration, regulation, Washington, the environment, criminalization, religious liberty and others.

The ideal candidate will be a strong writer with keen research skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex policy. The candidate must also have excellent news judgment, with an eye for what stories will draw incredible amounts of public interest. The reporting fellowship is two-years long, and reporters will attend weekly dinners with leaders from around Washington and the country to learn the skills necessary to succeed in journalism.

The Daily Caller News Foundation is accepting resumes for a full-time fact check reporter to work out of our Washington, D.C. headquarters. TheDCNF fact check team finds and evaluates the false, misleading and sometimes surprising claims made by political figures.

A candidate for this role should have strong research skills, broad knowledge of U.S. policy and politics and the ability to write clearly and concisely. He or she must also have excellent attention to detail and a desire to consider issues from both sides.

The Daily Caller News Foundation, a 24-hour online news foundation founded by Tucker Carlson and Neil Patel, is seeking journalism and development interns who are interested in a fast-paced, exciting workplace that values motivation and innovation.

As an intern at TheDCNF, you will be involved with all facets of the news, including producing original pieces. Interns will also be assigned work as needed, including conducting electronic research, filing FOIAs, and other tasks.

We are looking for bright and focused individuals who are seriously interested in a career in journalism or fundraising, can work within deadlines, and are dedicated to the integrity and growth of the foundation.

Every aspect of our company is hands-on. Whether its writings stories, creating movies, or working with our development team, you will have the opportunity to pursue your professional interests.
