Two men were ordered held on $500,000 bond each Sunday after Chicago Police executed search warrants for them Saturday morning and recovered a total of 16 guns — including two loaded assault weapons — and narcotics with an estimated street value more than $27,000.
The search warrants, which were unrelated, came after tips were received from the public, leading officers in the Harrison District and Organized Crime Division’s Narcotics Section to the contraband and the men. The two are both convicted felons, a release from police News Affairs said.
