Obama promises to turn around the job market

US President Barack Obama on Monday promised a sustained response to addressing job losses that he said have become an “epidemic.”

At an event where he announced a package of tax credits and other measures for the middle class, Obama said his upcoming federal budget would reflect a focus on helping ordinary families.
