A small plane made an emergency landing on Alligator Alley Thursday afternoon.
The plane touched down in the eastbound lanes of Alligator Alley at mile marker 29.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office said two people were aboard the plane at the time. No injuries were reported.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the plane is a single-engine Piper aircraft that was on its way from Tennessee to the Opa-Locka Airport when it lost power.
