ABC’s “Lost” found a considerably large audience last night for its much-awaited season 6 premiere.

According to the Live Feed, the two-hour episode attracted 12.1 million viewers and a 5.6 rating among adults 18-49, up 12 percent from last year.

The news should come as a sigh of relief for the network, which saw record-low numbers for “Lost” last January. For its season 5 premiere, the show drew just 11.4 million viewers and was down 26 percent from 2008.
