A machine gun-toting gang staged a stunning heist at a £1 million poker tournament. They burst into the top-rated event – which had attracted players such as German tennis ace Boris Becker – wielding grenades and machetes.
Up to six masked men forced staff to hand over money at gunpoint then managed to escape.
One British player said: “The first thing that crossed everyone’s minds was that it was a terrorist attack.
“You had these guys in balaclavas yelling and running around with automatic guns and machetes.”
