A 13-year-old girl in Orange County faces traffic charges on her driving record years before she’s old enough to legally drive.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the teenager is charged with careless driving after taking her father’s SUV to a grocery store with her siblings.
The girl crashed the sports utility vehicle into a tree, troopers said. Her father also faces charges in the accident.
She and her 14-year-old brother suffered minor injuries and were taken to Dr. Phillips Hospital. Her 8-year old sister was not injured in the crash.
