Frito-Lay Inc. is urging consumers not to use a fake “free Doritos” coupon that launched last year on the Internet and is now in rampant circulation via e-mail.
“This absolutely has been the most challenging” bogus coupon the company has seen, said spokeswoman Aurora Gonzalez. “Left unchecked, the impact of this fraudulent coupon could run in the multiple millions of dollars.”
