Not only was George Steinbrenner one of the most influential sports franchise owners, he was also one of the more memorable characters on Seinfeld. Well, not THE George Steinbrenner — Seinfeld creator Larry David actually did the voice the Yankees owner.
On the show, George Costanza, played by Jason Alexander, worked for the Yankees in sales and had to make frequent visits to the Boss’s office from Seasons 6-9.
