New spin on cheeseburger at state fair creates buzz

MILWAUKEE — The people who brought chocolate-covered bacon last year have a new creation for this year’s Wisconsin State Fair.

The Krispy Kreme cheeseburger will be introduced to the fairgoers at the Machine Shed booth throughout the entire fair.

The Machine Shed taste-tested the burger to those whom the company called “salad-lovers” and the restaurant said the testers loved every bite. The cheeseburger features a Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut.
