Could an on-set romance be brewing between Halle Berry and co-star Olivier Martinez? While spokesfolks for both stars are laughing it off — and saying they merely have a good working relationship on “Dark Tide,” currently lensing in South Africa — a production staffer on the film insists something is afoot.
Martinez, the talented French actor first noticed by mainstream America with his 2002 performance in “Unfaithful” opposite Diane Lane, has a history of dating co-stars, including Juliette Binoche, Mira Sorvino and Angelina Jolie. He had a high-profile relationship with Aussie singer Kylie Minogue and more recently was linked with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley — who has been in Chicago filming “Transformers 3.”
My on-set source says Berry and Martinez have been virtually inseparable, with romantic dinners, “huge bouquets of gorgeous flowers” and Martinez serenading Berry — all part of the “really good bonding between co-stars,” said the source with a laugh.
