MSNBC’s coping mechanisms are still in effect:
“I think this reluctance to use the ‘S’ word, Stimulus, just reflects in a lot of ways what a public relations and communications disaster the first Stimulus was.”
And maybe, possibly, conceivably, it was also a disaster in that it wasted an astonishing amount of money and didn’t work, and we’re the ones who’ll pay? But no, they can’t say that. Then they’d sound like teabaggers. So rather than acknowledge reality, it becomes a “PR problem.”
Gee, wonder why MSNBC and CNN are slugging it out for a distant second place?
