BUFFALO, N.Y. – Carl Paladino bought Assembly speaker Sheldon Silver a one-way ticket to Washington, D.C. to leave less than 24-hours after election day, in response to a comment Silver made to a Jewish newspaper.

Sheldon Silver told the Jewish Week newspaper that New Yorkers “should consider moving out of state” if Paladino wins the race for Governor.

In response, Paladino instructed his campaign manager Michael Caputo to buy Silver a one-way train ticket to Washington, D.C. “because after Carl Paladino wins in New York, the only place that will hire him [Silver] is the Obama Administration.” says Caputo.
