NPR says no way their employees will go. Comedy Central’s sister channel MTV says their employees will get on the company buses and make the 11-hour round trip to DC if they know what’s good for them.
How about us? What’s our policy? Huffpo asked, we told:
“Our reporters don’t need mommy and daddy’s permission to go to the zoo.”
So it’s nice to have the option. Unfortunately, I won’t be attending because I’ll be recovering from my second knee surgery, and also because Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are boring.
