This week, it was my honor to chat with former Bush White House Press Secretary Dana Perino. Perino recently signed on as editorial director at Crown Forum, — and I wanted to hear more about this new opportunity.
It turns out, her first project will entail the publishing of Charles Krauthammer’s new book, expected out before the 2012 election. (Note: I will also be interviewing Dr. Krauthammer, a Pulitzer-prize winning author and political commentator, later this week.)
Pernino and I also discussed her background; where she came from, how she got to where she is today, and what has influenced her decisions along the way. (Her story should be an inspiration to anyone seeking real-world advice on how to launch a career in politics.)
Living by her motto, “Eyes and ears open at all times,” and armed with a determined attitude and work ethic, Perino continues to be a major political player and commentator.
