MSNBC host Ed Schultz declined the opportunity to clarify his attack on conservative radio host Laura Ingraham Monday. When The Daily Caller called Schultz on his personal cell phone, he promptly hung up.
“This is Ed,” were the only three words he said.
TheDC was later contacted by his publicist at MSNBC, apparently per Schultz’ request. The publicist did not provide a clarification or explanation for Schultz calling Ingraham a “right-wing slut”.
She did say, though, that Schultz probably hung up because it was a bad time for him to talk since he was still working on his daily radio show, which runs from 12 – 3 p.m.
