Tim Pawlenty’s campaign released a video today that gives voters a “behind-the-scenes” look at his announcement in Iowa last Monday that he would run for president of the United States.
The video shows footage of Pawlenty making his announcement as well as speaking to members of the crowd, and has footage of Iowans discussing his announcement in positive ways
“If you’re looking for the loudest or the comedian in the race, vote for somebody else. but I’ll bring the solutions,” Pawlenty says in the video.
His wife Mary, in a glowing introduction of her husband before he announced, says, “my husband is a man of great character, courage, good judgment, wisdom, discernment, and he has the experience to be the next president of the United States.”
“I look into his eyes and I see an honest man,” says one Iowan at the event.
