It’s one thing to be dumped at the altar, but another entirely to be reminded of this on the front cover of your very own publication.

That’s exactly what happened to Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner, whose ex-fiance Crystal Harris appears on the cover of the July issue as “Mrs. Crystal Hefner.”

The issue, obtained by Us Weekly, goes on sale Friday, the day before Harris and Hefner were set to tie the knot. The mag features 25-year-old Harris donning her ex-beau’s signature pieces, such as his red robe and captain’s hat. In the same picture, Harris sits next to their shared pooch Charlie.

Hefner, who announced his broken engagement on Tuesday, recently tweeted, “Crystal took Charlie with her when she left & I really miss him.”

Many assumed Harris and Hefner’s 60-year age gap would pose some problems. The skin mag businessman proposed to Harris on Christmas Eve last year, but it wasn’t long before cheating rumors on her end surfaced. In March, the New York Post reported that Harris was messing around with Dr. Phil’s son, Jordan McGraw. Hefner denied the rumors, but ultimately ended up without his would-be bride.

Since informing the world that he’s not getting hitched, Hefner has taken to Twitter to channel his emotions.

“Since we’re not getting married on Saturday, I’ve scheduled a movie: “Runaway Bride.” Seems appropriate,” the 85-year-old tweeted on Tuesday.

Hefner wished Harris well regardless, as he went on to promote her new single on Twitter, “Crystal’s “Club Queen” became available on iTunes today. I hope it’s a hit.”

Hefner’s ex-girlfriend Holly Madison, who loved him for years but ended the relationship when he said he’d never marry her, sent good wishes to the abandoned groom.

“U r too sweet. Wish I was there to support, too! RT @KendraWilkinson: @hughhefner we r comin over w some jack n coke… oh n a pipe lol,” Madison tweeted on Tuesday.
