Recently some bored nerds at Cornell University* were playing around with an artificial intelligence program called Cleverbot, and they decided to make it talk to itself and see what happened:
Pointless snark, willful obtuseness, bewildering non sequiturs, bald-faced lies, tedious parroting, straight-up gibberish… Now we know where comment trolls come from.
*You know, the place Keith Olbermann thinks he attended. Come to think of it, he might’ve been the prototype… Olberbot?
