MINNEAPOLIS — Charisma, he’s got. The Spanish basketball star Ricky Rubio, with his longish dark hair and fashionable facial stubble, flashed plenty of that in his first two appearances with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The 21-year-old Rubio’s exhibition debut against the Milwaukee Bucks last Saturday night at Target Center featured so many clever no-look and behind-the-back passes that by the fourth quarter fans chanted “Olé!” when he flipped an alley-oop to the rookie Derrick Williams for a two-handed dunk.
