Hollywood raised its collective glass to Michelle Obama at a fundraiser Tuesday.

Netflix chief content officer and vice president, Ted Sarandos, and his wife, current U.S. ambassador to The Bahamas, Nicole Avant hosted the event at their Beverly Hills home, The Hollywood Reporter writes.

The star-studded fête brought donors like Quincy Jones, Harvey Weinstein, Jerry and Ann Moss, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Reed Hastings, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Stephen Bing, Berry Gordy, Mike and Irena Medavoy, Haim and Cheryl Saban, and Jeff Garlin.

The first lady was in full campaign mode, making a speech about her husband’s record on issues like health care reform, the military withdrawal from Iraq, the end of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” and about the administration’s efforts to reduce taxes on the middle class.

“In the last 3 years, we’ve worked hard to get out of this mess and we’ve made some remarkable progress, but we know there are people still suffering and there is a long road left to travel,” Michelle said. (RELATED: Michelle reports for campaign duty)
