Some Americans and politicians believe running a business is a “crime,” businessman Mark Stevens told The Daily Caller.

Stevens was targeted and threatened by left-leaning activists because his company advertised on a New York City radio station during Rush Limbaugh’s talk show.

“I spend money on advertising to grow my company to employ people, to pay for their health insurance, to give them opportunities to thrive in America,” he told TheDC’s Ginni Thomas. “There’s a lot of people in America who probably believe that I deserve to be sitting in a chair on a Nuremberg trial because I run a business.”

“I risk the capital, I risk the money, I respect everyone who works for me. But this is my crime,” he said.

The full interview with Stevens is scheduled for Monday morning at The Daily Caller.
