Word emerged yesterday that Facebook’s user numbers dipped ever so slightly, causing a drop in share price for the world’s biggest social network. According to a source, Facebook’s United States users dropped by 1.1%.
How accurate is the information? Well, Capstone analyst, Rory Maher, used proprietary software to pull up the data. Other intel gleaned includes evidence that “of the 23 countries where Facebook’s penetration exceeded 50 percent, only nine expanded their user base over the past three months, while the remaining 14 countries either had fewer users or saw little change,” according to a report by Reuters.
