45-year old Radcliffe Haughton is reported to have shot and injured at least seven people near a shopping mall in Brookefield, Wisconsin on Sunday.
The incident is suspected to be related to a domestic incident. According to court records, Haughton had recently received a restraining order.
Haughton is reportedly married to someone who works at Azana Day Spa in Brookfield.
Law enforcement officers are continuing their search for the shooter and have joined forces with the FBI and other local law enforcement officials. Bomb technicians are also searching the area around the crime scene.
Republican Gov. Scott Walker released a statement condemning the attack as “senseless.”
“Our state will stand with the victims and their families, and we will provide them with the law enforcement and community support they need to heal in the coming days,” Walker said.
UPDATE: The gunman has fatally shot himself according to county dispatcher. Three additional people have also been reported dead according to various news reports. Search efforts were halted by the presence of an incendiary device at the Azana Day Spa.
