It’s a common practice for big name universities to give credit cards to athletic recruiters to entice promising players to the school. However, it’s not regular for an athletic department employee to use the card at a Vegas strip club.

The director of video operations, Michael Schumacher, did just that though, spending over $7,600 in one night at the Olympic Garden strip club, The Associated Press reports. The charge happened in May 2011, however was discovered after a recent external audit. Schumacher has paid back the school and has not made any public comment.

Schumacher was in Vegas representing the school at a conference and was alone at the club. He left a $2,000 tip on a $4,400 bill. Since the audit, Mizzou has deactivated 32 school-issued credit cards for the athletic department.
