Rihanna finally did the sensible thing and got a restraining order — unfortunately, not from on-again boyfriend Chris Brown.

The singer filed the order Tuesday in a Los Angeles court against Steveland Barrow, who was arrested for breaking and entering into a neighbor’s home, thinking that it belonged to Rihanna back in February, Yahoo! reports.

Barrow reportedly took “various items from the home” and “slept in a bed” because he thought it was Rihanna’s.

At the time of the arrest, Barrow claimed that he had been invited to Rihanna’s home.

The intruder wasn’t without game, however, since he “had numerous pieces of poetry for her” with him at the time of his arrest.

The temporary restraining order states that Barrow must stay 100 yards away from the singer, her home or car. A court date set for March 21 will determine if there will be a stricter punishment.

This isn’t the first time Rihanna has dealt with restraining orders.

After Brown beat the crap out of her in 2009, a judge placed a five year restraining order on the R&B singer. It was lifted two years later, and it now appears that the two are closer than ever.
