Michigan guard Nik Stauskas could shoot in high school, too [VIDEO]

Michigan’s freshman guard Nik Stauskas is a sharpshooter, plain and simple.

Turns out, he has been for a little while now.

In a video from his high school days, Stauskas attempts to make as many three point shots in five minutes as he can.

That number is apparently 102, as in more than 20 three pointers every minute.

Stauskas used his long distance stroke to propel Michigan into the Final Four last weekend with his 22-point performance over Florida in which he made all six of his three point attempts.

Michigan coach John Beilein told stories earlier this season about Stauskas setting a record for his preseason three-point challenge and making 45 out of 50 three pointers over the holiday break in his backyard.

Maybe it’s Stauskas’ home hoop in Toronto where he made the 102 three pointers in five minutes and 128 out of 142 in the six minute video.

This feat is a stark contrast to the recent video of President Obama’s dreadful shooting day at the White House Easter Egg Roll. Perhaps the president should be playing with UM and not UNC and pick up a few pointers.
