An inmate in Garland County, Arkansas managed to escape to freedom in less than a minute through a reception window. Derrick Estell was talking on the phone while another inmate, William Harding, distracted the guard.
Estell is still on the run but Deputy Scott Hinojosa said, “We are investigating several leads that we have received.” They have have arrested Harding and believe the driver of the car that Estell fled to is Tamara Upshaw.
Estell’s rap sheet includes auto theft, breaking and entering and aggravated robbery.
