That’s not a metaphor. Well, maybe it is. But it actually happened.
I’ve had nothing but good things to say about D.C. Fire and EMS, who arrived promptly and took good care of me after a State Department security SUV driven by an agent named Mike McGuinn made an illegal left turn and shattered my left knee. But this is embarrassing. How tough is it to replace a gas gauge? Isn’t that pretty important in an ambulance? Especially the one reserved for the President of the United States?
I mean, what if something had happened to him that night? Does anybody like the sound of “President Joe Biden,” besides Joe Biden?
