Usually, those lovable socialists at Obama For America Organizing For America Organizing For Action spend their days pestering us about one silly leftist initiative after another, spouting one lie after another, blamethrowing all over the place, and just plain being annoying.
Heck, their Twitter account alone is a treasure trove of tedium:
What is at risk from Congressional gridlock on the budget? Everything from climate change to our economy. Read more: http://t.co/cCuhYbfTyX

Blah blah blah, do this, do that. Same deal with President Barack Obama’s official Twitter account. Which is run by OFA. Even though they’re supposed to be a non-partisan, tax-exempt organization that isn’t officially part of the Obama administration. Because rules are rules except when they’re not.
Anyway, Obama’s Twitter feed stinks too. Remember, he’s not the one tweeting this stuff, the OFA kids are:

Lie, cast blame, repeat. Stultifying.
And yet you can scroll down his Twitter feed for days and there’s not a single mention of Syria.
That’s Twitter alone. I imagine if you were unfortunate dumb enough to give them your e-mail address, you must get inundated with this crap. But are they bugging you about Syria?
Neil Munro reports on this glaringly obvious omission:
Two spokesmen for the Republican speaker of the House sent out messages Thursday suggesting that President Barack Obama isn’t trying hard to win congressional authorization for a military strike in Syria.
Obama’s Organizing for Action grassroots group “is not exactly ‘Flooding the Zone’ on Syria,” said a morning message from Michael Steel, a flack for House Speaker John Boehner.
Steel sent another message out at 2:54 p.m. “Folks – With a big vote on President Obama’s Syria policy looming, Organizing for America doing a protest in Speaker Boehner’s Congressional district tomorrow on… his opposition to ObamaCare…”
Instead of rallying Obama’s support to lobby legislators to approve the authorization, Obama’s OFA movement is focused on pushing Obama’s domestic priorities.
Weird, huh? Why aren’t they pestering you to call your congressman and tell him to vote for bombing Syria? Why aren’t they blaming the Republicans for everything Obama is screwing up? Why aren’t they bugging the $#!+ out of you about this?
It’s almost as if, as Jim Geraghty at NRO puts it:
[Obama is] caught between a war he doesn’t really want to fight and his fear of being exposed as a guy who draws red lines but doesn’t enforce them. So he’s splitting the difference by pledging to bomb Syria, but not that badly. That won’t restore our national credibility.
I dunno, you guys. Sounds pretty racist to me…
Invade Syria. Or Obama will look dumb!

P.P.S. Yeah, it’s official. Rebecca Berg at the Washington Examiner:
The director of President Obama’s political arm, Organizing for Action, confirmed to supporters that the group will not lobby on the president’s behalf in the debate over whether the U.S. should strike Syria.
OFA Executive Director Jon Carson acknowledged in a conference call Tuesday that many of the group’s volunteers have raised the issue of Syria since Obama over the weekend announced that he would seek congressional authorization for the strike. But OFA, Obama’s most potent lobbying apparatus, has decided to sit out the Syria debate, Carson said.
…Carson told supporters that the group has “so much going on on other issues” that it can’t launch another lobbying campaign for Syria. Besides, he noted, OFA doesn’t lobby on every issue the president raises.
They’re just so busy! Plus they don’t feel like it. Take that, teabaggers.
