They really do think we’re this dumb. And they have a point, considering the results of the last two presidential elections.
This is an actual thing that exists in real life:
Finally, we get to see the guys who programmed healthcare.gov.
Here’s the text, for future generations to Google and behold in awe:
got insurance?
Brosurance
Keg stands are crazy.
Not having health insurance is crazier.
Don’t tap into your beer money
to cover those medical bills.
We got it covered.
Now you can too.
thanks
obamacare!

Bros for Life
Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life. Unless you’ve got Obama to take care of you.
“We [sic] got it covered.” See, because that’s how bros talk. Bros, bro!!!
When you go to the intentionally(?) ungrammatical doyougotinsurance.com, it redirects to gotinsurancecolorado.org. Here’s their story:
Got Insurance is a project of the Thanks Obamacare campaign, created by the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative and ProgressNow Colorado Education to educate everyone about the benefits of the Affordable Care Act. – See more at: http://gotinsurancecolorado.org/index.php?id=11#sthash.tgigWgdo.dpuf
So far, so good. As of a week ago, 226 people in Colorado had enrolled in Obamacare. But I’m sure that since then, it’s at least doubled.
Thanks, Obamacare!
Hat tip to Igor Volsky at “Think” “Progress,” who calls this ad “amazing.” He’s right… just not the way he intends.
Update: Now here’s a good question…
.@ThanksObamacare Question: Can you legally use the "got milk?" marketing campaign? @jtLOL @BuzzFeed @RealAdrianC

Update: Point at them and laugh. They hate it. They’re defenseless against it.
The best part about #brosurance? The SICK dude-uctible. @ThanksObamacare!

I sure wish I'd had #brosurance when I was in college. All those ER visits from swallowing goldfish and cramming into phone booths.

"Grab a #brosurance. Don't cost nothin'!" — President Barack Blutarsky

Well, what in the world is wrong with @Obamacare brochures? #EmilyLittella #brosurance
— Jim Treacher (@jtLOL) October 22, 2013
The #brosurance bros are college grads: "They had time on their hands…" Thanks, @Obamacare! And @ThanksObamacare! http://t.co/vkBCSs54Bl

Bros are smarter. MT @SkylerMcKinley The #brosurance, #GotInsurance campaign is directed at the media, not actual bros.
