Finally! I thought maybe this whole Obamacare thing was an unmitigated debacle, but mitigation is on its way.
President Barack Obama is expected to announce a fix Thursday for people losing their health insurance under his signature law.
The White House says Obama will make a late-morning statement from the briefing room.
He’s resigning?
Just kidding. He’s not getting away with it that easily.
Mr. President is scheduled to speak at 11:35, so who knows when it’ll be. Those golf balls aren’t just going to hit themselves, y’know.

Update: “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. Period.” First he tried lying about the substance of that lie by retroactively adding a caveat and claiming it had been there all along. Now he’s pretending he didn’t do that, because nobody bought it. Now he’s acknowledging his own empty promise, but claiming it was made in good faith. If that’s the case, why did he lie about it? He really is backed into a corner, if this is the best he can do.
Forget about his lie about his lie, because his original lie wasn’t really a lie, or something.
