The Super Bowl is being held for the first time at an open-air cold weather arena, meaning the gear needs to account for the weather — and Nike has not failed to deliver with its new line of clothing tailored especially for the event.
ESPN’s Darren Rovell tweeted out a number of the items Nike will be providing for players. They look futuristic, being predominantly metallic silver and neon green. Goose down parkas and fleece-lined athletic gloves will protect wearers against the cold. The look can only be described as 1980s sci-fi movie meets Antarctic expedition.
What do you think of the gear the teams will be sporting?
