Star Wars fans across this and another galaxy far, far away have already begun gearing up for the franchise’s return to the big screen, and the Force reveals no better way to do so than enrolling in the Lightsaber Combat Academy.
Ludosports has established seven locations across Italy to train young Jedi and Sith in the art of using “a more elegant weapon for a more civilized age.” The academies teach several different types of real sword-based combat, including styles used in the choreography of the films.
These are not your average cosplay nerds – their skills are pretty legit, as the academy’s website and videos demonstrate.
