The next rock concert you see might be performed by robots.
A team of flying robots become maestros in a new YouTube video featuring six-rotor drones performing epic renditions of popular songs on keyboards, drums, bells and slide guitar, without missing a beat or a note.
The “Flying Robot Rockstars” tackle notable tunes like “Also Sprach Zarathustra” (famously used in Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey”) and “Carol of the Bells.” They were created by KMel Robotics, are positionally programmed to the millimeter and controlled by a remote computer acting as their digital conductor.
“These guys are about to make the internet explode,” one YouTube user commented.
