On her show, “Andrea Mitchell Reports” Thursday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell questioned President Obama’s handling of the border crisis, and observed a trend of the Obama Administration constantly scrambling to cope with crises.
“Did the White House underestimate this issue?” Mitchell asked Jeanne Cummings, political reporter at Bloomberg News.
“It seems as though they’re always reacting to the VA, to this crisis, to that crisis…rather than anticipating that this was developing along the border,” she continued.
Cummings agreed. “Yes, they are reactive, and that’s one of the reasons, I think, that the President didn’t go down to the border is because it would draw a whole lot more attention to the problem that they’ve got down there.”
