On “Morning Joe” Friday morning, “Meet The Press” moderator Chuck Todd came to the conclusion that Alison Lundergan Grimes may have “disqualified herself” after she repeatedly refused to answer who she voted for in the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections.

Mitch McConnell’s Democratic challenger for the U.S. Senate made four refusals during an editorial board meeting with the Louisville Courier-Journal. (RELATED: VIDEO: KY Democratic Senate Candidate Won’t Say If She Voted For Obama, Was Delegate For Him In 2012)

Grimes told the editorial board she believes Kentuckians respect “the sanctity of the ballot box,” a point that was lambasted by Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough.

“The sanctity of the ballot box? Oh my God! That’s awful!” he said. How could Alison Lundergan Grimes make a … what a rookie mistake! Just admit it!”

“Don’t treat us like we’re stupid!” Scarborough continued.

Todd hit her equally hard, particularly for showing an inability to answer a tough question, and openly posited how she would ever be able to cast a tough vote if elected to the senate.

“Even to say that you regret your vote, that would seem as disingenuous. That is … and Kentuckians expect her to cast a tough vote on anything?” said Todd, seemingly at a loss for words.

“Is she ever going to answer a tough question on anything? You want to be a U.S. senator?” asked the “Meet The Press” moderator. You can disagree with him, but you can’t answer that basic question and come across looking that ridiculous?”

“I think she disqualified herself. I really do. I think she disqualified herself,” Todd concluded.
