Steelers linebacker James Harrison is ridiculously strong. Like the kind of strong only exhibited by your grandfather, or Popeye or your high school strength coach who hasn’t lost an arm wrestling match since ‘Nam.

Check out this video of Harrison doing pushups with the Steelers’ Center Maurkice Pouncey sitting on his back.

WATCH:

Harrison is listed at 275 pounds, but based on the size of his cement mixer-like biceps, he could easily be 300. Pouncey tips the scales at 304. Put them together, and that equals 600 pounds of pectoral prowess. Sorry ’bout it.

Still not convinced that Harrison is the strongest man on the planet? This video of the 36-year old throwing up sets of 405 on the bench — AFTER COMING STRAIGHT OUT OF RETIREMENT — will change your mind.

Harrison has been playing out of his mind since rejoining the Steelers and terrorized Ravens Quarter Back Joe Flacco on Sunday.

Despite his resurgence in the league, recent evidence shows he might want to skip some lift days and work on his cardio.
