Two months ago, actress Gabrielle Union’s nude photos leaked online in a massive 4Chan scandal that targeted countless female celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence. Now Union is speaking out about the incident, claiming, “I didn’t do anything wrong.”

Union wrote an essay about it for Cosmopolitan’s December issue, and on Sunday she told the audience at the Fun Fearless Life conference in New York that she was furious about having her nude photos leaked. (RELATED: Nude Photos Of Celebrities Leaked In MASSIVE Scandal)

“We were taking a ‘family-moon’ with the kids in Turks and Caicos — I’m on this island paradise with my family and I had hoped they had apprehended these criminals, but they hadn’t. In the moment, I froze. I was mortified, terrified. … I just didn’t know what to do. I felt I had given so much of myself, but I had saved a little bit for myself and for my husband, and they had taken that from me.”

The 42-year-old maintains that she did nothing wrong, and that what she does with her body is her own choice.

“I didn’t do anything wrong — no matter what people describe to me, ‘It’s your fault, you’re stupid to take nude photos, that’s what happens when you’re a celebrity’ — all this nonsense…they’re criminals. What you do with your own body is your choice. Period. There’s no gray matter there.”

Union criticized Apple for not doing more about the hack, and said the tech company cares more about the iPhone 6 than it does its customers. (RELATED: Celebrities Threaten To Sue Over Nude Photos)
