The pundits and apparently lesser media of the world ought to stand up and unite against WaPo‘s Wesley Lowery, who attacks them any chance he gets. Some may recall him speaking down to MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough for not keeping it real and heading to Ferguson, like Lowery.
On Monday night, Lowery was at it again.
“Impossible (for anyone) to give any real legal analysis of this until evidence has been completely released and analyzed,” he announced on Twitter.
This, while CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin was doing his level best of analyze what could happen. Toobin was actually among the media voices preaching for caution before reporting a non-indictment of police officer Darren Wilson before it was official.
Media critic Richard Grenell popped right up. “@WesleyLowery except for the jurists who already did.”
Lowery replied, “@RichardGrenell well sure. I was talking about as media/talking heads.”
Grenell, who typically attacks the media, seemed to soften, saying, “It won’t stop them from pretending to know.”
