This week, Republican Capitol Hill staffer Elizabeth Lauten was forced to resign her job in Rep. Stephen Fincher’s office after her Facebook post criticizing the Obama daughters’ dressing choices was promoted on left-wing blogs and mainstream media outlets.
The Washington Post, Huffington Post, CNN, MSNBC and something called “The Politico” all talked about Lauten telling the Obama girls to dress with more class at White House events.
It doesn’t quite seem fair to make an unknown female Hill staffer out to be the face of supposed GOP “cyberbullying.” To be honest, we hadn’t even heard of the congressman she worked for — and we do this for a living.
Having been through one or three of these social media firestorms before, The Daily Caller is here to send Ms. Lauten a very special message.
