A spokesman for North Korea’s communist dictatorship didn’t mince words in criticizing President Obama Saturday, making a racial remark in the process.
“Obama always goes reckless in words and deeds like a monkey in a tropical forest,” an unnamed spokesman for the National Defence Commission, the communist’s state chief governing body, told a North Korean state news outlet.
The Associated Press reports that the spokesman doubled down on the country’s denial of involvement in the Sony hack — even though they still consider the Sony film “The Interview” a threat to their national security — and blamed the United States for shutting down the Internet in their own country.
“The US, a big country, started disturbing the internet operation of major media of the DPRK, not knowing shame like children playing a tag,” he stated.
North Korean websites have experienced severe outages all throughout this week — leading some to believe they are retaliatory attacks in response for the Sony hack.
The White House has yet to respond to this latest outburst from the Hermit Kingdom.
