Roger Goodell is getting in the combine spirit.
The NFL commish decided to dust off his track spikes and ran a 40-yard dash as part of the #RunRichRun campaign. In partnership with DirecTV, Under Armour and NFL Play 60, the campaign is meant to raise awareness for Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Though it’s for a good cause, Goodell is probably still hoping he posted a slightly better time.
5.53, huh? That might’ve been good enough to beat Rich Eisen, but it won’t be fast enough to escape the pending Deflate Gate shit-storm that’s about to dump on the league. (RELATED: New Video Shows NFL Official Tampering With Deflated AFC Championship Balls)
According to the NFL, you too can join in on the #RunRichRun campaign, “by donating to St Jude and by posting a video of you running a 40 yard dash.”
