The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (D-II) tournament kicked off this week, and though none of the teams competing in it have a shot at the big dance, the 2015 edition has given basketball fans a different taste of “March Madness.”
Albany State squared off against Tuskegee University in a first-round match-up on Tuesday. Tuskegee would go on to easily win by a final of 80-63, but not before both team’s cheerleaders transformed the court into a slightly-less-choreographed, slightly-more-violent version of “Bring It On!”

I haven’t yet heard any of the investigation’s findings, but I can only imagine the lead-up to the fight went something like this.
Tuskegee advanced and will play Morehouse College in the quarterfinal round on Thursday.
