Some Liberty University students don’t appear to be taking a Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) presidential candidacy too seriously.

Thanks to HuffPost’s colleges beat reporter Tyler Kingkade, who has alerted us to student comparisons, we’ve got Liberty University students and their thoughts from the anonymous social media site Yik Yak, which has been criticized as a new mode of cyber-bullying. They equated Cruz to Kermit the Frog. They called the senator and his posse “nuts.” Complete with pistol emoticons, they made fun of the would-be Commander-in-Chief come 2016.

“Can I leave now?” one asked.

“Worst TEDTalk ever,” wrote another.

The ridicule went on and on.

Others poked at his use of the word “imagine” and his attire — which was a dark suit and navy striped tie.

“Imagine me not having to say ‘to imagine.'” Now that’s hard to imagine,” wrote a student.

Followed up with another with wrote: “Imagine this is all a dream.”
