The Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers got into a scuffle during Wednesday night’s 126-122 Clippers win.
In the third quarter, while Blazers center Chris Kaman and Clippers point guard Chris Paul were going for a rebound, Paul hit Kaman below the belt. This led to Kaman pushing Paul in the back.
Clippers power forward Glen “Big Baby” Davis then sprinted towards Kaman, but Blazers power forward LaMarcus Aldridge quickly got in between Davis and Kaman. Aldridge then barely pushed Davis out of the way, causing Davis to flop as if he was taking a charge.
I don’t know if you can get fined for flopping during a fight, but if so, Davis should be fined.
Kaman was the only player penalized for the incident, receiving a flagrant one foul.
Putting the incident aside, Paul had a tremendous game. He scored 41 points and dished out 17 assists in the win.
