Rock the Vote held its pre-party for the White House Correspondents Dinner Thursday night, kicking off the four days of festivities surrounding the dinner.

Set inside the Blind Whino, which was adorned in cherry blossoms made out of tissue paper, the party was hosted by two magnets for millennials, Twitter and Fusion.

Over 1,000 partygoers showed up to drink all the free gin and boxed water (?) they could get their hands on while waving glowsticks in their friends faces.

When asked how the water was, one partygoer said it was “sweet on the forefront and tinny on the back end.” Like drinking out of a water hose.

You could have guessed it was a party of 20 year olds, because by the end of the night only red wine was left. Two food trucks, selling grilled cheeses and Peruvian food, were outside, along with a row of Porta-potties, and upstairs the Reston-based RDGLDGRN played.
